Nice photo! You could have overexposed it a bit because of the bright background... Click left on the wheel I think, then turn it up a couple of notches, or however much it takes to make mum look brighter.
We thought you would comment on the photo. Only learning mode at moment. Will take your advice. The group are fine. had a drink with them after dinner last night. The new members are the ex- Australian High Commisioner to pakistan and his wife. very knowledgeable.
I like the picture at the top; it looks like you have mastered the new camera. Didn't take long for you to get to Sydney! Were you on a helicopter trip around the harbour when you took it, or standing on top of the bridge? :-)

Actually I think you press up on the wheel to get the exposure thingy. I can help you fix them up when you get home though. :)
