Across the Bay of Bengal

17:00  Only 5 weeks left on board!  Tomorrow we will be 7 hours ahead of you.  It was fortunate that we visited Egypt when we did.  How will this chaotic country cope with the changes brought about by the Arab spring?

By all accounts the trips to Sri Lanka showed how ill equipped its tourist industry is in coping with an influx of cruisers.  The Captain recognised the numerous complaints made with an announcement during dinner last night – but no apology.  Still a beautiful country, however.
