People on board

A day at sea, so a word again about people on board. 

Kate Adie joined us at our table for dinner last night and became a member of the table’s quiz team later in the evening.  She left at about 23:00 as she had to send her commentary via the ship’s eccentric broadband to the BBC.  She told us that, to record her observations for Radio 4’s ‘From Your Own Correspondent’,  she crouches under the table in her cabin to ensure that all unnecessary sounds are eliminated. 

No camera at the dinner table, but we caught her later today in the pool area today.  A very pleasant evening – and somewhat unexpected.
