Dress code

19:15   A quiet day at sea – well why be active all the time?
In our 61 days, there are different dress codes for dinner.  Tonight is ‘Black Tie’ and we are advised what that means: “Dinner Jackets, Tuxedo or dark suit for gentlemen, ball gown, trouser suit or cocktail dress for ladies.”  Well, although it’s nice to dress up occasionally, it bucks the UK trend to dress down.  Jane thinks that 17 formal nights are a few too many.  Perhaps we’ll opt out and go to the cafeteria upstairs where you can wear singlets and bikini tops at leisure – well perhaps not!
We are pleased to welcome Pat back to our table tonight following a return to the UK from Dubai and a flight back yesterday to Singapore, where she rejoined the cruise and was reunited with husband, Frank.
Sihanoukville tomorrow.  We have nothing planned, so we’ll take the shuttle bus to the town and see what’s there.  This whole cruise is an incredible trip.  Who would ever have thought that we would visit Cambodia?
We hope Inca is OK and has not been too encrusted in snow.  We obviously think of her every day.  Thank you again, Angela.

  1. Why does your dog not feel the cold? She's only happy when soaking wet or with icicles hanging off her fur! She's fine, at least whilst we are frozen the mud levels are not too bad, more or less half way through her stay (not that you want to hear that).
