At sea. Took part in a Passenger Piracy Drill today, locking door to balcony, closing curtains, switching off lights and sitting in the corridor away from the door for 35 mins, in case a Jonny Depp lookalike scaled the sides of the ship to take Jane ransom. (Jane pictured with Dulce, our cabin steward) The ship will sail in a protected corridor from Aqaba to Dubai through the Straits of Aden. It is doubtful that we will be troubled by pirates nor see the Royal Navy that is apparently in the area to protects us.
Pyramids, Sphinx and Nile cruise tomorrow. The third formal night (black tie) tonight; haven’t run out of clothes yet.
Aha, the old close the curtains strategy eh? Well I, for one, have never met a pirate who could get through closed curtains, so they must be giving you the proper advice. Looking forward to your pics of the pyramids etc. How do you like the new camera?
